In this class students have access to a class-set of Canon Rebel cameras that range in model from T3 to T6i.
Each camera and its components are numbered. Each student is assigned a camera number to use during class.

- Batteries are charged - by placing a not-full battery on a charger after use and retrieving the camera's battery from the charger if it is not currently in the camera at the start of a photoshoot.
- SD (Memory) Card - replace the camera's SD card after uploading pictures after a photoshoot, and ensuring the SD card is inserted before a photoshoot.
- Formatting the SD card - format the SD card before returning the camera to the cabinet and ensure the SD card is formatted before beginning a photoshoot.
- Camera strap is ALWAYS worn around the neck and at least one hand holding the camera when it is not in use.
- No running, jumping, or otherwise goofing off while using a camera.
- Misplaced or Damaged - If a camera is damaged or misplaced during a photoshoot, the assigned student is responsible for replacing it (this is in the syllabus signed by parents and students).
In this class students have access to 11 industry standard Macintosh computers. Each computer is numbered and each student will be assigned to a computer. Most students will share a computer with one other student.

- NO food or drinks near computers (this goes for iMacs and MacBooks)
- Only use your assigned computer
- Computers are shared, this means you MUST be on-task, no side conversations, no watching videos for entertainment, etc. Computer time is FOCUS time.
- All files are saved to the individual's folder, nothing is saved to the desktop or left in Downloads (it will be deleted).
- MacBooks - Students assigned to use a MacBook may not carry the MacBook around when in use. Retrieve the assigned MacBook from the cart, place on a SOLID work surface (table or lap desk).
- Respect & Self Advocacy - You are most likely sharing a computer, it is your responsibility to respect your partners time, this means allowing time to use the computer and advocating for yourself when you need computer time.
In this class students have access to four printers, two LaserJet printers and two InkJet printers. If a project is required to be printed, directions on which printer to use will be provided.

- Only print when instructed
- Printers are not to be used for assignments from other classes or for personal use.
- Ensure the correct paper is being used based on assignment requirements.
- Only click print ONCE!
- DO NOT click PAUSE in the print queue on your computer, it messes everyone else up!
- If the printer is taking excessively long, simply turn the printer off, wait about 10 seconds, and turn it back on and try again.
LEAVE NO TRACE!

- Ensure lights are turned off when not in use. Bulbs are expensive!!!
- Return lighting equipment when your are finished using it.
- No shoes on the backdrops
- Do not leave backdrops draped to the ground, they will get ruined from being walked on.
- Neatly fold backdrops that are not in use.
